At the centre we have a huge family of Miniature Shetlands with a wide variety of colours, sizes and characters. Which one will be your favourite?
All our Miniature Shetlands are adorable and love being stroked, they live as a herd all year round and their main hobby is eating lots of grass and being petted. Our visitors have the chance to get close to them in our front paddock and in our indoor barn. The miniature ponies have loads of friends at the Centre, including Muffin the Mule and our two Heavy Horses Buster & Harris.
Currently, we have approximately 60 equines at the centre, this includes our Miniature Shetlands, American Miniature Mares, Mediterranean Miniature Donkeys, Heavy Horses, a Mule and our Unicorn!
Every year sees the arrival of beautiful and incredibly cute foals, they’re counted as one of the highlights of the season for many people. Naming competitions for the new additions are run each year with a different theme, this year the theme is superhero’s.
This year we’ve also the addition of our unicorn to the herd, White Lightning! He’s brimming with colours and is here all season for you to see in his unicorn stable.
Keensacre & Bottriell Studs
Here at the Centre we also have two working studs. The Keensacre & Bottriell studs both produce our foals and we have our own stallions and jacks in the top fields. For more information on the working studs including a sales list, please click here.
