Heavy Horse Experience Days will be Available in 2013
Through our ‘Heavy Horse Experience Day’ scheme we will be able to offer you a unique opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Heavy Horse Groom.
A Day For A Horse Enthusiast To Treasure Forever!
Full Day Experience: Available from 11am - 4pm £100 or £175 for two people
Half Day Experience: Available from 11am - 1pm or 1.30pm - 4.30pm £50
Starting in 2013, Heavy Horse Experience Days will be available from the beginning of May until the end of October, we regret we will be unable to offer experience days during the school holidays.
STANDARD FULL DAY ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE...
- Introduction over a tea or coffee
- Meeting and feeding the heavy Horses
- Grooming the heavy horses
- Learning about the harness
- Lunch in our paddock view café.
- Putting too a carriage
- Un harnessing and washing the horse down
- Ride through the farm
- Turning out and cleaning out the heavy horses
STANDARD HALF DAY ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE...

Activities may be subject to change on the day due to welfare or operational factors.
For Health and Safety reasons and due to the range of activities being undertaken, the heavy horse experience Day' experience is only available to those over 16 years of age.
We regret the we are not able to offer experience days during the school holidays.
All experience days must be pre-booked.
