Welcome to the Miniature Pony Centre

Home to miniature ponies and much much more, the Miniature Pony Centre is a truly captivating family attraction in Devon.

Situated in an idyllic setting in the heart of scenic Dartmoor, there is plenty of fascinating parkland to explore. With farm and lake side walks, outdoor and undercover picnic areas and breath-taking views all set within 20 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside.

The centre has a host of animals including small cuddly ones in the Pets Paddock, feathery ones in the walk in aviary and hatchery, or hairy and woolly ones can be found in paddocks around the farm.

The traditional stable yard and covered barn are occupied by many different horse and pony breeds and provide easy access to meeting them, even in bad weather. But it’s not all miniatures the heavy horse barn is home to a very rare breed of heavy horse the Suffolk Punch, and that old favorite British breed the Shire.

Every need is catered for with the Paddock view café offering a full range of delicious home-cooked food, and the gift shop selling a variety of toys, gifts and stationary.

Children are able to burn off excess energy come rain or shine, in one of the indoor or outdoor play areas. All ages can be kept entertained with a full programme of free hands on activities, talks and demonstrations.

Pony rides are available for children aged 3 to 10, with each rider being awarded a rosette as an award for their achievement.

A great value, fantastic family day out in Devon.  But you don't take our word for it read what our visitors say.
